CBT Psychotherapy

CBT is the most recommended psychotherapy, by the National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE), and the NHS. This is because it has been clinically proven to be effective in treating most psychological difficulties, from anxiety and depression to phobias and OCD. I am able to help with all of these and have specialised in eating disorders, self-esteem, anxiety and depression.

After an assessment session an estimated number of sessions will be recommended, usually 5-20 weekly one-hour sessions, but the choice is yours. Success is achieved by exploring and modifying the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that have combined to create and maintain problems. You will learn new approaches and strategies that can be tried out between sessions.
